Euan is the protagonist of the novel Britain as well as the comic Britannia: Euan's dream.
Overview[]
Euan, a 36-year-old postman from Scotland, lived in the Glasgow Metro with his wife Julia and two children, Michael and Gwen, until 2033. In February, following an attack on their home station of St. Enoch, slave traders from London kidnap Euan’s family. The desperate postman follows their abductors across the country to the former capital of the United Kingdom, destroyed by the Last War.
Trivia[]
- On the novel's cover, Euan's image was inspired by Australian actor Hugh Jackman.
- "Euan" is a traditional Scottish name, itself a derivative of an older Pictish name with Greek and Hebrew roots. In Britain it is spelled phonetically as "Юэн" (Yuen).
