The M2 Line (Polish: Linia M2) is the second line of the Warsaw Metro that stretches from the west to the east. It crosses the older M1 Line at Świętokrzyska station.
Overview[]
In the Metro continuity, the M2 line has only 6.1 kilometres of fully finished track with just 7 stations and 6 unfinished ones, as its construction was not finished before the nuclear conflict of World War III devastated Warsaw. It was planned to have 21 stations in total, with construction scheduled to finish in 2022.
Due to its newer and unfinished status, the M2 line is smaller and still fairly unexplored in comparison to the bigger and busier M1 Line. Arguably the busiest station here is the lower level of Świętokrzyska, the location of the "Vietnam" faction, which also serves as a transfer point to the M1 Line.
