Master of the Forest is an achievement in Metro Exodus that can be obtained in The Taiga level.
Overview[]
This achievement can be obtained after reaching an abandoned church in the mid part of the level. When Artyom tries to cut the rope in order to bring down a ladder, a mutated bear breaks through the church door and attacks Artyom. The player has two options now - they can either avoid fighting the bear by returning to the rope and climbing up the ladder, or they can fight off the bear by shooting it and hitting it with explosives until it escapes by jumping off a cliff. Choosing the second option will grant the player this achievement.
