Petrov was a soldier of OSKOM who participated in the Novosibirsk Riots. On 6 June 2035, he was one of the conspirators on the OSKOM side of the conflict who participated in the gas attack that killed most survivors of both sides of the conflict on the orders of his commander Anatoly Vinogradov so that the remaining low supply stock of Radioprotector would not run out. After the gas attack, Vinogradov learned that his son Seryoga Vinogradov was among the dead in the fighting and that the leaders of the conspiracy had betrayed them as well by leaving early. Vinogradov ordered Petrov to take an RPG from his safe and destroy the train that was leaving. Whether Petrov accomplished this is unknown, but it is likely that he was successful as one is known to have escaped. It is also unknown whether Petrov survived the metro being overrun by mutants after the civil war ended but given the state of the city he is likely among the dead.
