Putrification is an achievement in Metro Exodus that can be obtained in The Dead City level.
Overview[]
This achievement is obtained by passing through the biomass-covered, half-flooded tunnel with a rowboat. This area is encountered shortly after Artyom and Miller separate at Kirill's hideout and Artyom passes an abandoned station infested with mutants. On higher difficulties, it is recommended to kill all acid-spitting worms with a long ranged weapon before going through the tunnel, as they can overwhelm the player, given their large numbers.
