"Good luck to you, ranger" line is a translators mistake. In the original, the man calls Artyom "Ohotnik", which means hunter, not ranger. About lockers with numbers - kids dad, a soldier, told him to look for supplies in military lockers (those supposed to have inventory numbers on it) when in need. They were not supposed to find one - kid just retell to Artyom what his dad was saying. 188.162.37.68 20:11, August 12, 2014 (UTC)
