Subtitles[]
The subtitles show this guy's name as Mikhalych. I'd just like to know where we got "Mikhailovich" from.
Also, sorry if creating Mikhalych was bothersome. I wasn't aware of this article.

- Dont worry i didnt remove the page in a nasty or hostile way, there was just this page, the page was made a long time ago, i cant remember the name origin, but i know the chracters name isnt pronounced MikhalychSmish34 09:55, November 9, 2011 (UTC)

Mikhalych isn't the name[]
Mikhalych (Михалыч) is from Mikhailovich (Михайлович), this is a patronym. Mikhailovich is an oficial form, and Mikhalych is a form used by friends and other close people.
Hello voice from the aether, while it may be odd to be referring to the character in such a 'friendly' way, the character is never addressed as Mikhailovich. Thus renaming the article would be confusing for anyone trying to find this article (the few that there may be). And besides, we already have a trivia note (ugh) stating how oddly personal the tone of the name is. Chaosian 20:09, June 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, Burbon's spoken line clearly says "Mikhailovich", while the subtitles show "Mikhalych". So either the subtitles are wrong, or the English version got the spoken line wrong.
