What are you doing here?[]

Hey Nitty! , I thought I would only see you on The Vault! Revalation21:6 22:59, April 12, 2010 (UTC)

I <3 post apocalypse settings.
I'm specifically on this page because I think that the gun is labeled "Tihar" in-game like it is in the instruction book, but I can't tell because of my standard definition TV. That, and the book is wrong about a few other things, like the stock on an Auto-Shotgun being a mod like the Bastard's silencer. Nitty Tok. 23:02, April 12, 2010 (UTC)

The last sentence of the History section contains a vaguarie that could use clarification.

"The evolution of the pump pneumatics and CO2 guns largely left Europe and appeared __here__ as youth-level, low-power, mass-production guns, while in Europe spring piston airguns became extremely sophisticated and accurate target and light hunting small-bore guns."

Not sure of the current location of this particular author, but would prefer to have this clearly defined. Don't want to know where you wrote it from, but anyone across the world could be reading it. Is this to mean the setting of the game? Or perhaps America, as referred to earlier in the section? Basically, anywhere but Europe, but it's not clear. Great detail of the history though, just this one little issue that bothered me as I read.

Direct contradiction in the article[]

There are two statements in this article which are in direct contradiction. They are as follows:

  1. "The sound of the gas leak will not alert the enemy of Artyom's position." (Overview -> paragraph three -> last sentence)
  2. "This hissing can be heard by enemies and can reveal your location if Atryom gets too close." (Tactics and Use -> paragraph seven -> sentence two)

So which is it? Can the enemies hear the hissing or not?
